Something terrible is happening to Sparkle City. A little girl’s colorful and misshapen crayon world, once full of innocence and goodwill, has been corrupted by a dictatorial unicorn by the name of Rainbow. But there is hope yet: a man from the real world, the Man of Many Shades, an ex-convict and unflinching pragmatist who cares solely for escaping the crayon nightmare and returning home… if he just knew how. Only the Persistent Resistance—the revolutionary group rebelling against Rainbow—can get him back to his world, but only in exchange for the antihero’s help in their war against Rainbow. But for how long can the mysterious Man of Many Shades be trusted?
