SONGHAMMER is the creative brainchild of Ben Stewart (ShredHammer) and Dustin Miller (CroonHammer). Fueled by caffeine, sorcery, and ramen, these titans of rock drew their inspiration from the worlds of online gaming, fantasy and face-melting ROCK, combining these elements to create a style of music perfect for PVP/PVE gamers, ComicCon fans, live-action roleplayers, and cosplayers around the globe. With the addition of guitarist Devanand Bassanoo (DeathHammer) and drummer Jose Perez (TimeHammer), SONGHAMMER has become a force to be reckoned with!
Upon winning the BlizzCon 2011 International Songwriting Competition, SONGHAMMER embarked on an epic journey to make a cinematic, adventure-driven rock video, and complete a full-length (mind-blowing) rock album. Done and done! After many long months crafting epic music in SONGHAMMER’S Forge, the awe inspiring twelve song album, World of SONGHAMMER was born and unleashed. At the end of 2012, SONGHAMMER successfully funded a Kickstarter campaign aimed at raising capital for an EPICALLY cinematic rock video for the song “Death Is On The Way.” With the help of video director John Leonetti (Kill the Irishman, The Punisher), Director of Photography Luc Nicknair (Snoop Dogg, Tupac Shakur), and the production team at Epic Level Entertainment that dream has become a reality. The video for the song “Death Is On The Way” features 12 robed horseback riders, 11 fighters, 8 bandits, 4 pilgrims, a belly dancer, a Mage (Michele Boyd- “The Guild”), Death himself, and, of course, the mighty SONGHAMMER!
