Brea Grant is a writer/director/actress best known for acting in Heroes, Friday Night Lights, and Dexter. She recently wrote and directed her first feature, Best Friends Forever, an apocalyptic road trip movie, which premiered at Slamdance. She has also written several comic books, co-hosts a podcast called Mystic Party! and writes many web shorts. So she’s kind of tired all the time.
Brea was born and raised in the great state of Texas where she learned to be bossy and fearless. She earned a useless Master’s degree in American Studies then moved to Los Angeles to chase dreams in 2006. She received national attention for both her acting work as well as her use of social media and “geek” stardom in such publications as New York Post, CNN.com, Entertainment Weekly, and Geek Magazine. She spends most of her free time baking. She can currently be seen on the Nerdist’s Real Housewives of Horror, which she wrote, and on any number of random television shows depending on the week.
