Constantly Calibrating originally began as the fever dream of two longtime friends, who coincidentally were obsessed with the same video game series: Mass Effect. In an effort to record our obviously hilarious conversational skills, we sat down to record an episode focused on our thoughts on the final game in the series shortly after completion.
It was terrible.
However, despite lacking in quality it was through that experience that we both developed a passion for podcasting and the like. This led to the creation of Constantly Calibrating, a focus place for nerd and geek culture, which ultimately turned into a mini-hub for other podcasts; these include our Doctor Who themed podcast After Who, and several others in different stages of development or completion with our ‘Calibrating Partners’.
Constantly Calibrating has grown into a three-person podcasting team with our Senior Editor Brad Coggins, who brings a balancing and focus to the podcast each and every Tuesday. Every week we sift through both stories in geek culture and from our personal lives to discuss for our loyal listeners. Sometimes we’ll also bring out interviews, like our upcoming chat with awesome gaming journalist and cosplayer Raychul Moore. We always have developed a friendship with Rooster Teeth Productions, featuring from time to time people from their cast and crew.
